This success story demonstrates that PEMPAL Treasury Community of Practice (TCOP) has become the main platform for Tajikistan to learn about the international experience in the digitalization of national treasuries. The Treasury of Tajikistan used the knowledge acquired through TCOP for designing integrated financial management information system, developing cash management and liability management, and strengthening treasury controls. Experience and knowledge received during PEMPAL TCOP events remain relevant for the future development of the Treasury of Tajikistan in the areas of cash management and forecasting, centralizing public accounting, and measuring treasury performance.
